We have lived in our home 6 years and I can honestly say that I have put my heart and soul into this house! It has come an incredibly long way and I wanted to share with you the before and after of all my hard work.
Here is the front room that I turned into a playroom:
After! We store all the kid’s toys in those storage cubes.

Here’s the kitchen before. Those maroon/pinkish countertops were hilarious! I’d never seen anything like it!

Isn’t this so much lighter and brighter? I feel like I can breath easier when I look at the after picture.

New floors and paint make a huge difference!
I had no idea what to do with this loft area! The washer and dryer are being those doors.
I decided to turn this little loft into an office area. I love this use of space!

I actually loved this bedding but I wanted a more “neutral glam” vibe to our master bedroom.
I’m thinking a fancy light fixture above the bed, what do you think? Too much?
Window seat before, I think the box fan is a very nice touch! ?
Linens, paint and pillows made all the difference. This is my son’s favorite spot to read or watch a show.
I will definitely be adding more pictures of before and after of the house but here is what I have so far. Obviously, there is still work to be done! Looking through pictures it’s been crazy to think about how every single inch of the house was painted by me! Hard work pays off! Can’t wait to share more with all of you. I’d love to hear what you think of the changes that I’ve made!
