Goodwill Boutiques from your phone made easy with Nytch!

I am so excited to share this with you! Nytch is now working with the Goodwill Boutiques here in Portland! What is Nytch? It is an app that you use to shop locally! Sometimes you don’t have time to look around to find exactly what you’re looking for. This is hard for me because I want to buy local and shop second hand. An easy solution to this is the Nytch App! So how do you use the app? Let me show you! I’m also putting video tutorials on the end of this post, in case that’s easier for you.
First thing you do is download the app:
Once you’ve downloaded the app, create an account.
Now that your account is created, it will show you what stores are available to you based on your location. Here are all 4 Goodwill Boutiques in the Portland Area.
Here is the main screen and click on the “Home” icon.
After you’ve clicked “Home,” it will show you recent recommendations that other customers have received. Click on the bottom where it says, “Create a Request.”
This will be the recommendation request form:
•You pick a category, which for Goodwill is “Thrifted and Second Hand.” • Then you request the distance. (I put any distance because I wanted to be able to see the Newport and Hood River Boutiques). •Put your price range. •Then you describe what item it is that you’re looking for. Then click “Send Request.”
Within about an hour or two, you will start getting recommendations from local Goodwill Boutiques!
Here are my many recommendations!
Once you find what you’re looking for, you have the option to “Hold in Store” or “Purchase Item.” I recommend that you “Purchase Item” because they only hold it for about an hour or two.
Then you will be able to pick the item up!
You’ll also get an email saying that it’s ready! It was a great excuse for me to go out to the beach!
And then I picked it up! I love my new purse!
