Crafting Tip: Hot Glue Dots for Garland

I bought this cute egg garland at Target for $3 and loved it!  The only thing was that the eggs would NOT stay separated!  It wasn’t giving me the look I wanted.

The eggs are really pretty but I wanted them to look more evenly spaced out instead of all bunched together.

After trying out some different solutions, I finally thought of one that actually worked!  All you need is a couple of minutes and hot glue.  Here’s what I did:

I simply put a dab of hot glue on the front and back of each egg.

All done!

Doesn’t the garland look so much better?!

The garland is perfectly spaced! Yay!

Want to do this yourself?  Here’s what you’ll need:

Hot glue gun

Hot Glue Sticks

And Target always has different egg garland every year but I found a similar ones here and here.

That’s all you’ll need!

I’m going to use this tip on all of my garland from now on!  It’ll definitely give me the look I’m going for and is an easy fix.  Have you tried this before?  Do you have any tips for me?  I’d love to hear them!  Thank you for checking this post out!  Love you all!
